• Rob Cloutier, 3D Animator, Virtual Reality Developer, and Editor

    Owner of Digital History Studios, Rob has been a 3D cinematic animator and technical director for the past 25+ years, 12 of which have been in the gaming field. Rob has 5 years’ experience in VR/AR production, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at UMBC, teaching a course on VR. Rob created the 3D assets for the Newseum’s Berlin Wall VR Experience. He has also created several animation segments for the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Discovery Communications, National Geographic, federal agencies such as the DoD and NASA, and for a wide variety of other clients. He has also taught classes on 3D animation and published articles in international trade-oriented periodicals.   • Aniko Olah, Production Manager and Assistant Director

    A native of Hungary, Aniko has performed with with numerous local theater companies over the last ten years including ExPats, Scena Theater, Spooky Action Theatre, Theater Alliance, and Adventure Theatre. She also trained and performed with the Upright Citizen Brigade in New York. Aniko is a proud graduate of The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.

  • Deborah Benner, Artist in Residence

    Deborah Benner is a mezzo-soprano soloist, jazz recording artist, actress (Off-Broadway stage, feature film, national voice-overs and jingles) and vocal educator. She has toured Europe as a classical soloist, singing in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, Canterbury Cathedral in England, and in Munich, Austria, and Switzerland, and serves as mezzo soloist at Washington D.C.’s historic “All-Souls’ Church” and special events at the National Cathedral. The Washington Post calls her ” … a beguiling soprano voice”. She was a Metropolitan Opera Young Artists Finalist in 1982.

    A successful actress, Deborah Benner appears in Netflix acclaimed House of Cards as “Secretary of Agriculture” (Seasons 2, 3, & 4). On stage, Benner starred in the Off-Broadway production of Noel Coward’s “The Vortex”, and in the musical “Ruthless” at Washington, D.C.’s Source Theatre.

    Deborah is a member of Actors’ Equity, the Screen Actors’ Guild, and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She maintains an active vocal studio and has served as adjunct voice faculty at the American University in Washington, D.C.

  • Michael Bard, Artist in Residence

    Michael Bard is an active musician, composer and teacher who resides near Washington, D.C. He has performed as a soloist and with various musical ensembles throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, North Africa, South America, Central America and the Middle East. He has also been featured on various radio and television programs around the world. He has served as Vice President of the Dayton Classical Guitar Society as well as Vice President of the Washington Guitar Society.

    As a performer, Michael was chosen by the U.S. State Department to concertize throughout Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, and the kingdom of Morocco with fellow guitarist Corey Whitehead. Billing themselves as ‘Douze Cordes’ Michael and Corey effectively served as cultural ambassadors, offering diplomacy through music.

    His first recorded solo effort entitled ‘Illumination’ features original compositions for guitar and solo piano, blending a soothing mix of of Spanish, Latin, and adult contemporary instrumental styles. His composition ‘Mediterranean Beauty’ for two guitars is published by Lathkill Music Publishers, England.

    Michael currently performs & records with Washington D.C. based Latin Rumba-Flamenco group Trio Caliente, which has released 3 albums, performed nationally, and whose music was featured on NBC’s former hit TV show “Smash” as well as E! Entertainment Television Network. ​​
